After a lot of consideration, we’ve made the decision to cancel SomeConf.

We had already postponed the event once in hopes that interest and momentum would build, but ultimately they didn’t materialize in the way we’d hoped. As planning continued, it became clear that there wasn’t enough momentum to make the conference truly great and that matters a lot to us.

Rather than move forward simply for the sake of holding the event, we chose to cancel. If we can’t make SomeConf something we’re genuinely proud of, we don’t want to do it halfway.

Thank you to everyone who supported the idea and took interest along the way. While this chapter is ending here, we appreciate everyone who was part of the journey.
